AutisFun Group is a parent-led Scottish charity based in Glasgow that supports autistic and ASN (Additional Support Needs) children, young people and their families. We believe every child deserves to feel accepted, included and understood, and every parent deserves a safe space where they feel supported, not judged. We provide accessible community support through weekly ASN play sessions, sensory-friendly activities, parent/carer wellbeing groups, peer support, community events, and affordable family trips. Our programmes are designed with lived experience at the heart – our team consists of parents and carers who understand the challenges families face, including social isolation, behavioural needs, financial barriers and lack of local services. We exist because too many families feel alone or excluded from mainstream activities. AutisFun creates a place where families can connect with others who truly “get it,” build friendships, access support, and create positive memories together. We rely on fundraising to cover venue hire, sensory equipment, volunteer training, inclusive resources, and subsidised trips so no child misses out due to cost.Every penny raised goes directly towards providing safe, inclusive support that improves family wellbeing, reduces isolation and builds confidence. Together, we are creating a community of understanding, hope and belonging for ASN families.

Nicodemus began in 2012 with a commitment to supporting young people in Guatemala moving out of residential care and street youth leaving behind a life on the streets. Following starting up a Youth Mentoring Program, currently supporting 120 young people, our reach has grown through the training and equipping of churches and organisations to raise Youth Mentoring Programmes in the UK, Latin America and The Caribbean, South Africa and India. In 2012 when encountering a group of young people aged 18+ struggling after leaving their residential protection home for children in Guatemala, this group of young people were heading towards returning to living a street lifestyle and going back to sleeping on the streets – where they had previously been rescued from before going into childcare. In response to this, Nicodemus started a Youth Mentoring Program for these young people. Our Youth Mentoring Program exists to support these young people to achieve a healthy transition into young adulthood and independent living. This ongoing experience now equips volunteers and staff to mentor in 400 organisations in the UK and 1,300 organisation in Latin America across 13 countries.
