By shining a spotlight on critical issues, we rally communities of advocates who take action and invest money to empower women.
Our mission is to aid and support children suffering from poverty, sickness, lack of education or who have experienced physical or moral violence, by offering them the opportunity and the hope of a new life. It is an independent, lay organisation and is also designated an ONLUS (Non-profit organisation of social value). It operates without discrimination of culture, ethnicity and religion and upholds the United Nations rights of the child. The Foundation works around the world and is closest to the weakest and most neglected children offering them food, medicine, health care, education and programmes for social reintegration. In pursuing its goal, Mission Bambini is inspired by the following values: freedom, justice, truth, respect for others and solidarity.
Women Deliver is a leading global advocate that champions gender equality and the health and rights of girls and women. Our advocacy drives investment—political and financial— in the lives of girls and women. We harness evidence and unite diverse voices to spark commitment to gender equality. And we get results. Anchored in sexual and reproductive health, we advocate for the rights of girls and women across every aspect of their lives.
The International Youth Foundation® (IYF®) stands by, for, and with young people. Founded in 1990 through a generous grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, IYF is a global nonprofit with programs directly benefiting 7.7 million young people and operations spanning 100 countries so far. Together with local community-based organizations and a network of corporate, foundation, and multilateral partners, we connect young people with opportunities to transform their lives. We believe that educated, employed, engaged young people possess the power to solve the world’s toughest problems, and we focus our youth development efforts on three linked objectives: unlocking agency, driving economic opportunity, and making systems more inclusive. In the wake of September 11, 2001, a group of Los Angeles media instructors and professionals gathered to discuss the tragedy. They were determined to “go global” and make a major, long-term impact on the world community.The Teen International Media Exchange (TIME) was born, and found a home at the Media Academy at Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, CA, where two of the founders teach.Today, TIME is a non-profit organization with an explicit mission: to empower the energy of teenagers and the dynamic power of the media to create a peaceful, cooperative world community.
Our mission statement is for the Salem Social Village to be 'A place where Global Citizens grow through learning and serving together' - a place where people can come to receive education, get involved in action to help the poor, and find genuine community. Or, put another way, we want to help those who need it most whilst seeing a new generation emerge who will shape Central Asia's future and form part of the solution for the underprivileged across the region.
Our activity is exclusively charitable. The main goal is to provide a range of social, domestic, wellness, medical and preventive services for the weak, lonely and elderly, housing. Every year, under the full supervision of the association, 50-80 single elderly people (including persons with disabilities) are left unattended. Over the years of our existence, we have achieved certain results.
Fifty Shades of Aid CIC is an online community and global network that supports professional aid workers, and helps them meet the challenges that come with this line of work. We provide a protected online space in which aid workers can discuss these challenges frankly and honestly, find support from peers and access appropriate expertise. We also campaign for better safeguarding of aid staff at work. Fifty Shades of Aid CIC also provides members with additional services such as newsletters, personal action resources, support to individuals in need and access to providers of key services.
VISION: To see medical, literacy, education, agricultural, water and sanitation programmes established in countries as needed using HADA as the aid organisation. AIMS: HADA works in partnership with communities throughout the world to provide compassion, relief, training and development. OBJECTIVES: The objects for which the association is established are - To provide direct relief to people who are experiencing poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, destitution and/or helplessness of such seriousness as would arouse pity or compassion in the community. As a means of achieving this, the organisation will undertake the following activities: 2.1. To provide administrative and logistical support to new and existing projects. 2.2. To provide skills and training with the object of achieving autonomy for the projects. 2.3. To provide and support plans for the development of communities in ways which will improve their quality of life. 2.4. To do such other things of a social, community or benevolent nature as will assist in the creation of a better society. 2.5. To integrate all projects as part of the local community.
NABU Active for people and nature NABU has been committed to people and nature since 1899. With over 750,000 members and sponsors, it is the largest environmental association in Germany. NABU's most important tasks include the preservation of habitat and species diversity, the sustainability of agriculture, forestry and water management and, last but not least, climate protection. The communication of nature experiences and the promotion of natural history knowledge are among the central NABU concerns. In the approximately 2,000 NABU groups and 70 information centres throughout Germany, practical nature conservation is on the agenda, as are lobbying, environmental education, research and public relations work.
