OUR EVENT AIMS TO INSPIRE AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY, SO TOGETHER, WE CAN PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED SUPPORT TO MAKE A LASTING IMPACT IN THE FIELD OF AUTISM. Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, they develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond. Room to Read focuses on two critical areas of educational development where they believe they can have the greatest impact: literacy and gender equality in education. Under these two initiatives, Room to Read implements five core programmes: School Libraries, Book Publishing, School Construction, Reading and Writing Instruction, and Girls' Education.
