The Pongo Fund works to prevent animal hunger and keep pets with their families by providing emergency pet food, veterinary-care referrals, and mobile/emergency services. Its volunteer-driven pet food bank and related programs focus on keeping animals safe, healthy, and out of shelters when families are facing hardship.

The Baldwin Fund, supports both new and established researchers investigating the causes, prevention and treatment of breast cancer. This research will include—but not be limited to—studies of the genetic, molecular, cellular and environmental factors involved in the development and progression of breast cancer; application of the knowledge thus gained to educate medical professionals and increase public awareness for the prevention, detection, treatment and advocacy for the patient of breast cancer; and studies of the outcomes of breast cancer detection and treatment on the patient, their families and society.

Our mission is to restore dignity and enrich the lives of Syrian refugees and other vulnerable families by providing critically-needed items and supporting educational programs. The Syria Fund is a group of volunteers who care deeply about helping Syrian refugees amid this massive, ongoing crisis. We identify individuals that are underserved by large, mainstream aid organizations and provide meaningful contributions to better their lives. We focus on families and creating opportunities for a generation that has none.

Our mission is to make logistics a positive force for social and environmental impact. It is estimated that the number of people in need will be rising over the next decades, while funding will remain insufficient. This means that nonprofit organizations and governments have to deliver more aid without a sufficient increase in resources. Studies show that many nonprofit organizations spend the majority of their budget on supply chain-related activities (60-80%). More supply chain visibility and control would allow organizations to optimize their processes and create a higher impact per dollar spent. In order to unlock this potential, Flexport.org’s programs provide low-cost/in-kind logistics services for any relief shipments. Furthermore, our team matches surplus inventory with nonprofit organizations needing physical products for their services. Flexport.org also provides pro bono supply advice for any cargo moves dedicated to the greater good as well as volunteers supporting charitable activities in our local communities.

Our mission is to provide veterinary care and support to the victims of extreme torture, abuse and neglect; increase public awareness of all forms of animal cruelty; Encourage vigorous criminal prosecution of animal abusers; and Endorse and support other animal protection efforts that encourage a more humane world for animals.

Many families struggle to make ends meet, and every day some of those same families receive the devastating news that their child has a life-threatening illness. The emotional and financial challenges can be difficult to handle alone, especially when a parent needs to stop working in order to care for a critically ill son or daughter. Our objective is simple: provide financial support during a time of crisis to allow family members to better focus on supporting their sick child. Our network of social workers and our dedicated review committee evaluate and verify each request for financial need, and payments are made directly to service providers such as mortgage companies, utilities, etc. We work with families at Hackensack Meridian Health Network's Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital.
