Hoina strives to - PROVIDE FOR DESTITUTE, ORPHANED, AND HANDICAPPED CHILDREN IN SOUTH INDIA WITHOUT REGARD TO CASTE, CREED, RACE, OR RELIGION BY PROVIDING A LOVING FAMILY ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPING OUR CHILDREN INTO SUCCESSFUL, PRODUCTIVE, AND RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

The Society manages transitional and slower stream residences, supported apartments, as well as community support programs in B.C. Our “Steps to Independence” model of service delivery has a proven track record of successfully re-integrating survivors back into the community. Since 1984 hundreds of survivors and their families have benefited from these services. The Society is also a member of a Global Alliance (Leonard Cheshire International) of services for people with disabilities that operates in 53 countries.

OBJECTIVES: THE RELIEF OF DESTITUTE CHILDREN FROM POVERTY DISTRESS AND SUFFERING BY APPROPRIATE CHARITABLE MEANS WHETHER MEDICAL REHABILITATIVE FINANCIAL OR OTHER IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD AND IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF AID TO THE STREET CHILDREN OF THE UKRAINE
