Greenwich Emergency Medical Service (GEMS) is an independent, nonprofit ambulance/EMS provider that serves as the town of Greenwich’s sole 911 ambulance service. It delivers high‑quality pre‑hospital medical care and rapid emergency response across Greenwich, and supports community health through training, education, and event medical standbys.

Roanoke Valley Medical Missions is an organization devoted to assembling materials, expertise, funds and passion among members of our community with the resources and desire to serve others less fortunate. We sponsor medical mission trips (currently to Guatemala and Haiti), and are working toward a program to recycle medical supplies within our own Appalachian Virginia Community.

SINCE 1974 AEMS HAS BEEN BRINGING TOGETHER PHYSICIANS, NURSES, EMTS, PARAMEDICS, AND HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATORS TO ENSURE THAT EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE IS DELIVERED IN A COORDINATED MANNER AND MOREOVER THAT IT IS MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE PUBLIC.

The American Veterinary Medical Foundation develops resources to advance the science and practice of veterinary medicine to improve animal and human health.The AVMF is the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), one of the oldest and largest veterinary medical organizations in the world. For more than 55 years, the Foundation has been helping veterinarians help animals with support for education, animal welfare, disaster relief, and research programs and activities.
