Acknowledging the barriers that may hinder in-person engagement, we leverage the internet and social media to foster a global community within the widowhood experience. Through our free support groups, podcasts, and an extensive library of resources, we provide valuable insights on a wide range of experiences and challenges, empowering individuals to navigate their journey toward a meaningful life after loss. Open Doors provides practical support like food, medicine, housing, clean water and education as well as micro-loans to start businesses to persecuted Christians worldwide. We also provide Bibles, Christian literature, training, literacy programmes and trauma training. We work in over 50 countries.
Orphans Know More is a relationally based partnership working together to give orphans a Face, a Family and a Future. The project assists 25 Ugandan families caring for 150 HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children with education, healthcare and grief counselling and provides a permanent family.
Established in 1995 to help children with special needs in the Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire region. Special Needs can be defined as a child that needs help or a group of children that need help, a child with a terminal illness or a with a special talent. Unlike many charities it operates with no admin expenses and all monies raised are utilised to support the children or their families.
CWCF was set up in 1998 by Ursula & Chris Downton with Kirsty & James Denny. Now, with the help of other friends and family, we still go out having fun raising funds to grant wishes to families that live in East Sussex, Brighton & Hove and who have children that have been diagnosed with cancer.
