The American Blood Clot Association focuses its initiatives on the people who are at a high risk of developing a blood clot, those who have experienced a blood clot, and medical professionals who diagnose and treat patients.
DARDA is an acronym for the Dominica-American Relief and Development Association, Inc. The association was organized on June 28, 1981 by a group of concerned Dominicans living in and around the New York area. After the destruction wrought by Hurricane David various individuals and groups were involved in raising funds to assist in the rebuilding of Dominica. It was from this effort, and at the request of Bam and Wilfred Shillingford, that the idea of a new organization originated. This group, originally known as "Friends of Dominica," then went about the business of attaining official status. On September 25, 1981 it was duly established and registered as a not-for-profit corporation, officially known as the Dominica-American Relief and Development Association, Inc. (DARDA).

Its mission is to empower and support cleft and craniofacial healthcare professionals and the patients they serve through research, education, and advocacy. We promote team care and professional collaboration to ensure the highest quality resources are available to all with craniofacial differences throughout their healthcare journey.
American Speech and Debate Association’s mission is to prepare the next generation of leaders by providing competitive speech and debate events where youth learn to communicate their ideas, beliefs, and values effectively while maintaining respect for differing views.To accomplish this mission, ASDA embraces those values found in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution such as freedom of speech and religion; cultivates an atmosphere of collaboration and congeniality where freedom of conscience in all religious beliefs and political stances is honored; and accepts youth from all learning environments.
GOALS BEYOND HOCKEY\nThe American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association instills confidence and self-esteem in deaf and hard of hearing athletes, while building life skills through the game of hockey. AHIHA is supported entirely by contributions from individuals, corporations and organizations. We believe very strongly that our program should impose as little financial burden as possible to those we serve. There are no dues-paying members of the organization and athletes who participate in the annual hockey camp are not assessed a fee for attending. AHIHA operates with an all volunteer staff, many of which return year after year.
