Before the devastating earthquake of the 12th of January 2010, an estimated1.3 million of Haiti's school-aged children did not have access to aneducation. UHUK was formed in 2008 in direct response to helping Haiti'schildren get an education.UHUK has been tirelessly working at making a positive contribution in thelives of the impoverished children in Haiti by working with selectedgrassroots organisations in the country.Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. They say that everychild has the right to an education, however, for those born into a life ofpoverty, education becomes even more paramount in helping them secure aprosperous future.We were sponsoring 16 children in Carrefour and we want to expand to includemore sponsorships and assist in the building and re-building of more schoolsthroughout Haiti.Please donate now and help us in our challenge of educating the underprivileged children in Haiti.
