Bert's Big Adventure, Inc.

Established in 2002, Bert’s Big Adventure is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. To qualify for Bert’s Gig Adventure, children must be between the ages of 5 and 12, live in “The Bert Show” radio listening area, prove financial need and have never been to Walt Disney World®. Following the annual trip, Bert’s Big Adventure provides year-round support through initiatives such as the reunion adventures, the fairy godparent volunteer program and additional charitable services. The trip and programs create a community of families that establish lasting friendships with others facing similar challenges.

The Big Church Day Out is the UK's largest annual gathering for the whole church where more than 30,000 gather for 2 days at the Wiston Estate in Sussex for celebration and fun together. BCDO is an incredible family festival where many bring friends and family who may not yet have faith in a relaxed and fun space.

BIG Little Science Centre

The BIG Little Science Centre (BLSC) was started in February 2000 by Gordon R. Gore, a retired science teacher who has dedicated his life to teaching science in an interactive environment. The Centre currently operates out of eight classrooms leased from School District 73. The current program format allows visitors a period of time to experiment on their own at any of 130 plus hands-on stations located in three classrooms. three other rooms are used for demonstrations and serve as a basic teaching laboratories with capacity for 32 visitors each. The BIG Little Science Centre Society was established in October 2002 and registered as a charitable organization in September 2003. The Society has a leadership of eleven directors who meet monthly. The current Volunteer Board represents a diverse range of experience and skills including education, accounting, engineering, business, science and the trades.

BIG ON BEAGLES RESCUE

In a nutshell, Big On Beagles is dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of beagles experiencing troubled times. We have a special interest in coming to the rescue of senior beagles abandoned by their owners and work closely with several animal shelters to ensure these dogs don't leave this world alone and unwanted. With your support, we continue to bring the wag back to their tails, one beagle at a time.

Do It Big Foundation Do It Big (DIB) is a foundation that aims to bring hope and help to those struggling with depression, addiction, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.” DIB is guided by a vision aimed at significantly enhancing the well-being of individuals struggling with mental health challenges, with the goal of empowering them to lead fulfilling, joyful, and productive lives by organizing events and activities that build awareness.  We dream of an organization that acts as a source of hope, helping individuals who might feel lost or alone due to not being able to feel connected and purposeful.  Ultimately, we aspire to be a driving force in the journey toward healing where the scars of trauma become symbols of resilience.  Through our efforts, we aim to empower individuals to not just conquer trauma but to emerge resilient and profoundly linked to limitless opportunities. DIB has a mission to raise funds to help with individual counseling sessions, education, and activities to help with the health and wellness of individuals with mental illness along with being an advocate for national legislation that supports people with mental illness.
