Vitanova is a registered charity providing highly effective addiction services to individuals, families and the community at large - all at no charge. Vitanova operates a 28 bed domiciliary shelter and offers counselor-operated day programs, evening aftercare and therapy courses for individuals suffering from drug or alcohol abuse, gambling addictions and anger management. Vitanova is client-centered and focused on restoring the individual's potential as a valued member of a fully functioning family and a contributor to the community at large. The University of Toronto recently completed a study indicating an 83% success rate for program graduates. A $40 donation covers the cost of a full 24 hour day of counseling, food and shelter. $1,200 covers a person in recovery for a whole month. The typical stay is 3 to 9 months. Your generous donation will help Vitanova deliver on its mission of “Helping put lives back together again".

We are committed to funding programs that perpetuate the values and community spirit embraced by Philip and Eulah Scowen, with a particular emphasis on: Supports for marginalized populations; Improved opportunities for youth; Promotion of educational opportunities; and Endowment of the arts.

VOBOC’s three free services: 1) Vo-Pak program VOBOC delivers free backpacks to oncology units to give to their new cancer patients on their first day of treatment. Each Vo-Pak (venturing out pack) contains tools and resources to help patients navigate through the cancer treatment experience. 2) Granting of Special Requests At the request from medical teams, VOBOC considers and grants Special Requests to patients in palliative care whose circumstances require VOBOC’s assistance in order to realize the request. 3) Education and Awareness VOBOC supports and leads initiatives that raise awareness and public sensitivity to the increasing occurrence of cancers in adolescents and young adults.

Charitree organizes, coordinates and participates in children's environmental learning and reforestation projects that involve tree planting. Charitree brings children, teachers, camp directors, and parents together in an effort to get kids outside more to connect with nature and learn how they can make the world a better place. By focusing on the development of communities and families, KANPE addresses the diverse needs of the Haitian people: health, nutrition, education, financial independence and assistance. KANPE is combining its expertise with that of other organizations that have proven themselves in the field, such as Partners in Health (Zanmi Lasanté), which specializes in free healthcare for the underprivileged, and Fonkoze, which is dedicated to helping impoverished families achieve financial independence. KANPE is pooling its efforts with its partners’ to create a new comprehensive program designed to assist and support Haitian society’s most vulnerable populations in their fight for a better future.

Provide research and scientific-based innovative solutions to address socio-cultural, economic and human security issues and challenges in war-affected communities. Use approaches such as the Theory of Change and emerging modes such as transdisciplinary, action, participatory, critical and transformative research. Explore all the potential ways to effectively adopt and apply policy frameworks such as the UN SDGs in compliance with the principles of accepted international instruments, standards and best practices. Document information and resources necessary for action plans and strategies. Link ideas, policies, people and practices for sustainable development by connecting researchers, policymakers and practitioners. Collaborate with universities, research institutes, policy organisations, local councils and NGOs/ CSOs locally, nationally and internationally. Harness the expertise and resources of the diaspora.

We provide technical and financial support for reforestation and urban greening projects. We craft creative eco-education curriculums and awareness campaigns. We run engaging nature-based events and experiences. From getting our hands dirty running local projects to consulting for global organisations, we turn ideas into impact. Greenpop was founded in 2010 and has since worked across Sub-Saharan Africa and empowered thousands of people around the world to get active (not anxious) about the future of our planet. THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL IS TO OFFER THE COMMUNITY THE HIGHEST QUALITY PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPY SERVICES POSSIBLE GUIDED BY RESEARCH, PERFECTED WITH EXPERIENCE AND DELIVERED WITH COMPASSION. WE INSPIRE OUR CLIENTS TO REACH THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL THROUGH HIGH QUALITY, COMPREHENSIVE AND INDIVIDUALIZED SERVICE. OUR SERVICES HAVE BEEN EXPANDED FROM THE FAIRFAX COMMUNITY TO THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES OF WESTERN FAIRFAX COUNTY AND LOUDOUN COUNTY WITH THE OPENING IN MARCH 2021 OF THE CHANTILLY OUTPATIENT CENTER.
