The mission of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is to honor and preserve the legacy of service and educate all generations about the impact of the Vietnam War. Based in Arlington, Virginia, VVMF is the nonprofit organization authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1980 to build a national memorial dedicated to all who served with the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. Incorporated on April 27, 1979 by a group of veterans led by Jan C. Scruggs, the organization sought a tangible symbol of recognition from the American people for those who served in the war. The result was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (commonly referred to as The Wall), which has become one of the most visited memorials in Washington, D.C. with an estimated 5.6 million annual visitors.

This fund will split donations evenly between: FastForward.org, AI Education Project, Careervillage.org, Develop for Good, Learning Equality, and Upchieve FastForward Fast Forward invests in tech nonprofit entrepreneurs who are applying the best tech to our biggest social problems. CareerVillage.org CareerVillage.org is a platform that crowdsources career advice from 90k+ professionals for 5M+ underrepresented youth. Develop for Good Develop for Good is a volunteer platform pairing diverse university students with nonprofits for tech projects Learning Equality Learning Equality bridges the global digital divide by bringing the online learning revolution offline. UPchieve UPchieve provides free, online, & on-demand STEM tutoring for low-income high school students.

United Negro College Fund envisions a nation where all Americans have equal access to a college education that prepares them for rich intellectual lives, competitive and fulfilling careers, engaged citizenship and service to our nation. UNCF’s mission is to build a robust and nationally-recognized pipeline of under-represented students who, because of UNCF support, become highly-qualified college graduates and to ensure that our network of member institutions is a respected model of best practice in moving students to and through college. UNCF’s North Star is to increase the total annual number of African American college graduates by focusing on activities that ensure more students are college-ready, enroll in college and persist to graduation. This is done through a three-pillar strategy. Positioning member institutions as a viable college option for students and investing in institutional capacity to improve student outcomes; creating transformational support programs to ensure students are enrolling and persisting through college completion; building awareness of educational attainment and cultivating college-going behaviors within the African American community.

Live music is central to Colorado’s culture. Our musicians, their crews, and our venues are iconic and beloved across the world. Music is a force in the experience economy; attracting tourists, new residents, and business leaders to the culture of Colorado in good times. In times of hardship music is our salve. Up to 16,000 Coloradans are employed in this industry, and the COVID-19 Pandemic has created a desperate need to support the people whose lifelines have been disrupted. We're going to use the power of music to reinvigorate our workers and our economy.

SOC-F raises money for one incredibly worthwhile purpose: to provide medical, financial, and other support to SOF members and their families in ways that are often not met through other sources–what we call the “gaps.”

One hundred percent of gifts made to the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) go directly to helping our Foundation empower and advance restaurant workers from all backgrounds. Support to the NRAEF makes a big difference in the lives of today’s and tomorrow’s chefs, cooks, managers, servers, bartenders, dishwashers and delivery workers by helping the NRAEF provide the education, training and resources they need to get back to work and back on their feet!

At Trees for the Future (TREES), we recognize that unsustainable land use is the root cause of our most pressing challenges. We confront these challenges by serving the people at the heart of our global food systems: farmers and their families. As a global leader in agroforestry training for over 30 years, TREES provides hands-on, immersive education, skill building, and support, encouraging farmers to work with nature, not against it. Our signature methodology, the Forest Garden Approach, helps farmers transform their land with thousands of fast-growing, ecologically appropriate trees and dozens of other crops, creating new possibilities for themselves and their communities. By embracing sustainable land practices, farmers are reclaiming their agency, breaking the cycles of climate change and generational poverty, and rebuilding our food systems from the ground up.

Hospice of the Hospice of the Western Reserve provides palliative end-of-life care, caregiver support, and bereavement services throughout Northern Ohio. Save the Turtles, Inc. is dedicated to protecting sea turtles in critical habitat areas by awarding grants to community-based programs, assisting with salaries for the locals who patrol the beach at night protecting nesting turtles from poachers. Our organization is small and we are all volunteers, so our donations we receive are streamlined to worthy conservation projects, mostly in Costa Rica although we have financially assisted in the rescue of sea turtles in emergency situations such as the BP oil spill in the U.S. We value the donor’s intent—the money designated to saving sea turtles--and believe in a minimal overhead/administrative cost.
