We are a growing group of caring women committed to extending a “hand up” to women of Lake Havasu City who find themselves falling through the cracks when burdened with a particular financial need that cannot be met elsewhere.

The organization will continue to seek out opportunities to improve the lives of children and adults by providing financial assistance wherever and whenever possible for those that may be disabled, especially with ALS and cancer, the homeless and local civic organizations. Founded in 2004, Bach With Verse brings hope, inspiration and laughter through music and stories to war-torn and remote areas, and prison populations. To fulfill this mission, BWV presents double bassist Richard “Dobbs” Hartshorne in outreach concerts for all ages in schools, orphanages, prisons, refugee camps, rehabilitation and community centers throughout the world. Performances are crafted with a unique blend of classical music and humorous musical stories that are easily accessible to diverse audiences. BWV programs have reached West Bank Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, South Africa, Bolivia, Uganda and prisons throughout the United States.

Up With Books, Inc. provides new books to children living in poverty.

TO PROVIDE PROSPECTIVE ADOPTIVE PARENTS AND BIRTH PARENTS WITH PROFESSIONAL, SENSITIVE AND CONFIDENTIAL SERVICES TO FACILITATE SUCCESSFUL PLACEMENTS THAT MEET THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF ALL MEMBERS OF THE ADOPTION TRIAD.

Bring dignity to families living through poverty, and we do this by providing the tools and resources needed to increase self-awareness, repress the social stigma of lower-income individuals, and improve the quality of life. We have a long-term relationship within the Bushwick Community and because of that, we understand the pulse of the community. As a grassroots organization, and we have become the hands, feet, ears, and mouthpiece for those who are afraid to let their voice be heard. It is our intention to connect those in need with the right resources that will improve their way of living. We partner with other local organizations and business to address the lack of resources in education, job placement, affordable housing, life skills, food insecurities
