Its mandate is to speak out on issues such as housing, education, employment, transportation, human rights and access to support services. The GOLD bursary supports members of Girlguiding to participate in GOLD (Guiding Overseas Linked with Development) projects. It provides grants to those fundraising in socio-economically deprived areas as well as helping with extra costs for participants with additional needs.
St David's Newbold on Stour was built in 1845, lacking facilities needed today. A toilet, servery and hard paths will make this a community building where we can hold concerts, holiday clubs, meetings, coffee and lunch clubs to enable our growing community to come together and make friends.
The group provides pre-school education for children with special needs from 0-5 years. The special needs include physical disabilities, developmental delay, behavioural and social problems.
