Sea Cadets is a national uniformed youth organisation, based on the traditions of the Royal Navy, for young people aged 9-17.Seaham Unit requires over £10,000 each year just to cover our overheads to keep our Unit open for our wonderful members, numbering over 50 dedicated local individuals.

At Ipswich Sea Cadets, we aim to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, we learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, and honesty.

The Sheppey Sea Cadets is a Unit of the Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) which is the leading maritime charity for youth development and lifelong learning. Its Sea Cadets programme focuses on inspiring the next generation to realise their potential and seize a better future through nautical adventure based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.
