New Horizons for Children is a faith-based nonprofit that works to improve the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children by placing them with trained host or foster families, providing trauma-informed training to caregivers, and partnering with local child-care entities and governments to meet children’s basic, educational, and psychosocial needs. The organization currently concentrates substantial effort on evacuations, safe-haven housing, and support programs for children affected by the crisis in Ukraine while continuing programs in other partner countries.
