The goal of Water the Seeds Foundation is to help children from no-income families reach their full potential by giving them the opportunity to pursue their education with the help of positive role models. We want to provide inspiration through our team and to show young children that education is especially important in accomplishing their life goals. We hope to improve each child’s life by keeping them involved in school, supporting their interests, and encouraging their talents.

The Gentle Barn is a national nonprofit organization, founded in 1999 as a safe haven and place of recovery for severely abused animals. The Gentle Barn offers their unique philosophy of rehabilitating animals and connecting their stories of survival and healing to the personal experiences of inner city, at-risk and special needs children who have suffered physical, mental, or emotional trauma. By interacting with The Gentle Barn’s approximate two hundred animals and taking a hands-on role in their welfare, those who participate in the programs at The Gentle Barn learn empathy, trust, and forgiveness. The Gentle Barn is run by Founder Ellie Laks and her husband and Co-founder Jay Weiner, both of whom were healed and supported by animals as children. The Gentle Barn’s mission is simple: “Inspiring Kindness and Compassion towards Animals, Our Planet, and Each Other.”
Founded in 2007, we support clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. We give children a fighting chance when all other hope is gone.
Fueled by the kindness of the Phish fan community, WaterWheel’s mission is to create positive change by supporting nonprofit organizations based in Phish’s home state of Vermont, especially those focused on cleaning up the Lake Champlain watershed, as well as nonprofits local to each community where Phish’s tour stops via WaterWheel’s Touring Division. WaterWheel chooses beneficiaries from a wide sphere of causes including those working to protect the environment, promote social justice, fight food insecurity, provide music education, register voters, and those that help women and children, the homeless and others in need.
