ORTA is dedicated to enriching the lives of the Turkish-American community through educational, recreational, social, and cultural activities in Oregon without supporting any political or religious agenda. We are here to organize events and activities to promote cross cultural exchange of ideas, art, cuisine, traditions. ORTA was founded to create a community and a welcoming environment to anyone who is interested. We strive to extend our support to the Turkish American student body in the area, and partnering with humanitarian organizations in the USA and in Turkey.

American Short Fiction, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that supports, produces, and publishes the magazine American Short Fiction, founded in 1991. Our purpose, in publishing the magazine, is to promote the literary arts by providing a venue for outstanding writing by both emerging and established authors; organizing writing contests to recognize and reward such authors; promoting new fiction on our website; and offering writing classes, readings, and other literary events for the enrichment of our community.

American Friends of PSE is dedicated to promoting the education of the most impoverished children in Cambodia. As a US tax-exempt organization we invest in proven, holistic and sustainable programs ranging from nutrition, education, health care, protection to vocational training. These programs have been developed by “Pour un Sourire d’Enfant” over 25 years in Cambodia, and have been recognized for their excellence by the international community and the Cambodian government. American Friends of PSE is an advocate for the poorest of the poor in Cambodia.
