The Institute for Cross-cultural Exchange (ICE)/Institut d'échanges interculturels (IEI) is a Canadian charity (number 86260 1077 R0001) dedicated to promoting cross-cultural education. It encourages learning about other cultures and understanding between them. Our current priority is to donate high quality illustrated folk tales from the Middle East and Central Asia to literacy programs helping children in need. ICE is administered and staffed entirely by volunteers. This means that 100% of donated funds go toward the printing and shipping of books for disadvantaged children.

The Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross is a membership organization, the purpose of which is to unite its members under a common rule of prayer, thanksgiving, and simplicity of life, with special concern for social justice and peace, unity of all God's people, and mission of God in the world The Society accomplishes this purpose through its chapters and by operating a retreat and conference center (Adelynrood), and by providing continuing programs for spiritual growth.

Camp Red Cedar’s mission is to encourage children and adults with disabilities to move beyond their boundaries through recreational activities, outdoor education, creative arts and interaction with horses, in an integrated environment, serving people of all abilities.

We are a worshipping community of faith who provide services to those in need, including daily bread distribution, soup kitchen, transport to drug & alcohol rehabilitation, emergency disaster services, food, clothing and furniture.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to reach their potential. Serving as role models our mentors teach by example the importance of giving and giving back, staying in school, respect, confidence to learn new skills, and grow into healthy, positive contributing adults. We believe that by opening a child's eyes to what is, opens their minds to what could be. Each time we introduce a child to a caring mentor we start something special - a life changing relationships built on friendship, trust and empowerment. Guided by a team of qualified caring staff we have been impacting lives in Red Deer and area since 1976.
