Leaving a life in sport can be really tough. Not all sportspeople win gold medals or international caps and, when their sporting careers come to an end, most will need to start a second career. For some, this transition can lead to a loss of identity, a lack of purpose and mental health struggles.

Our selected anchor charity for 2024/25 is Baton of Hope, a charity with a mission to prevent suicide, an issue all too prevalent in the construction industry. Several small charities will also be supported which are having a directly positive impact to the communitities in which Glencar operates.

We provide vital support to young people who may not meet their potential due to their socio-economic status. We offer grants for school uniforms, educational equipment, tuition support, and enriching experiences to help build confidence.

Break The Mould is a grassroots charity from the Wirral supporting young people, families, and individuals through food provision, holiday camps, and community programmes that fight food poverty and build brighter futures.

Our mission is to support and educate, women, children and communities who are facing hardship. The aim is to assist in the creation of sustainable futures. We believe that all women have the right to be educated regardless of caste or religion. Through education they are empowered to be financially independent and contribute to their family's well-being and support economic development. We also sponsor disadvantaged children, to reach their full potential through education in our outreach programs.

STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) provides premier treatment, education, and research for children, adolescents, and adults with SPD. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children, adolescents and adults with SPD, and their families by providing: - Comprehensive assessment and effective intervention for Sensory Processing Disorder - Rigorous research with our collaborating university-based research partners - Education for caregivers, pediatric professionals, and educators; and - Advocacy for official recognition of SPD worldwide.

We're creating thousands of paid internships for talented Black career starters, supporting our alumni and harnessing our unique data so that UK employers can build more inclusive, representative teams where everyone can thrive. We do this by designing impactful programmes, delivering them at scale, and engaging with employers to challenge outdated systems, reframe recruitment, and reshape workplace culture.

The CTF builds and maintains the 567-mile hike-, bike- and horse-friendly Colorado Trail with the help of 600 volunteers and 3,000 donors each year. This trail provides multi-day, inspirational, and educational values keyed to the diverse, high mountain, natural environment.

To educate the public about epilepsy, increase knowledge, change attitudes postitively, provide the public with the ability to deliver seizure first aid, and accept and support people who have epilepsy.

OCF is a San Francisco based grantmaker investing in non-profits in the 9 SF Bay Area counties that provide organized athletic programming to children and teens from low income homes with the belief that their participation in sports will enrich their lives by teaching them leadership skills, teamwork, confidence, and perseverance among countless others. If it happens on a court or a field, in a pool or in a ring, our goal is to see all kids receive a chance to participate in a sport at any level. OCF's core belief that participation in organized athletics develops future community leaders.
