Leaving a life in sport can be really tough. Not all sportspeople win gold medals or international caps and, when their sporting careers come to an end, most will need to start a second career. For some, this transition can lead to a loss of identity, a lack of purpose and mental health struggles.
Our selected anchor charity for 2024/25 is Baton of Hope, a charity with a mission to prevent suicide, an issue all too prevalent in the construction industry. Several small charities will also be supported which are having a directly positive impact to the communitities in which Glencar operates.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children, adolescents and adults with SPD, and their families by providing: - Comprehensive assessment and effective intervention for Sensory Processing Disorder - Rigorous research with our collaborating university-based research partners - Education for caregivers, pediatric professionals, and educators; and - Advocacy for official recognition of SPD worldwide.

The CTF builds and maintains the 567-mile hike-, bike- and horse-friendly Colorado Trail with the help of 600 volunteers and 3,000 donors each year. This trail provides multi-day, inspirational, and educational values keyed to the diverse, high mountain, natural environment.
