WE ARE DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF INDIVDUALS, FAMILIES, AND OTHERS AFFECTED BY MENTAL ILLNESS THROUGH EDUCATION, SUPPORT, AND ADVOCACY
AMI-Québec’s programs are designed to help families better cope with the hardships and burdens caused by mental illness. Our programs include: • Support Groups: Weekly sessions where confidential discussion and sharing are encouraged in a small group setting. • Education Programs: Six-week sessions on thought and mood disorders and on obsessive compulsive disorder. • Information Sessions: On mental illness and related topics, through conferences, round table discussions and tele-conferences. • Share & Care Newsletter: A quarterly newsletter including information on various services, coping strategies, etc. • Library: A wealth of information on mental illness and related issues, including books, videos, DVDs and journals. • Advocacy and Social Action: An opportunity to work towards better services for people with mental illness and influence changes in social policy. • Raising Awareness: through education and outreach to students and the public at large.
Guangzhou Service Association for Autistic Children held the first preparatory meeting of the Council on June 7, 2015, and was registered in Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau on October 30. The association, with the tenet of "fellow workers" and the values of understanding, acceptance, respect and coexistence, appeals to the whole society to care for, respect, help and serve autistic children, and to build a healthy and harmonious life for autistic children through the integration and establishment of experts, community medical institutions, professional training schools, professional voluntary service providers, parents of children, etc Harmonious social environment. Vision of the association: to form a framework for the whole career assistance of special contents within three years, and implement the whole career assistance of special contents within ten years.

We exist to train local Community Health Workers with basic health knowledge and skills to improve the health of their own communities. Our vision is the end of preventable diseases in underprivileged areas globally by Educating, Empowering, and Equipping local health leaders, whose impact will change the course of their community.
