Founded in 2001, we are enriching the Calgary community with original dance performances that are thought provoking and inspiring for all ages. We value artistic collaboration and work with local artists and community groups to create moving performances for Calgary audiences. Our staff, board and volunteers are committed to investing in the future of dance in Canada. We provide career opportunities for professional dancers and choreographers. Through our dynamic youth company, we are taking an active role in the development of the next generation of dancers and arts leaders. "The purpose of the fine arts is to inspire the mind, move the soul and inflame the imagination. Corps Bara does all three for me". Dr. Charles Nienkirchen
