Mikey’s World raise awareness of knife crime and support our community by providing Bleed Kits and the associated training. We are also members of the Avon and Somerset Bleed Kit Partnership where we fundraise to provide easily accessible public Bleed Kits. Continuing additional support, activities and awareness will be introduced as our journey continues.The ultimate aim… to stop youngsters and anyone else carrying a bladed weapon, or any weapon. World Mission provides the Word of God in an audio format (The Treasure) for people who learn orally and live in areas where there is little to no Christian church - mostly Africa, Asia and India. We also provide humanitarian aid, pastoral training and clean water solutions, all with the goal of bringing the gospel to those the Holy Spirit is readying. Locally, we have thrift centers that people can donate to and volunteer at. This helps the people living in the area with good clothing and household goods at great prices and helps the people living across the seas in that they are then able to receive the gospel via the Treasure - MP3 player - that is solar-powered and in one of their 7,000 languages/dialects.

"Since 1974, the Our World-Underwater Scholarship Society™ has provided firsthand experiences in underwater-related disciplines to young people considering careers in the underwater world. Each year a scholar is selected from North America, Europe, and Australasia to work with leaders in marine-related fields partaking in endeavors ranging from scientific expeditions, underwater research, field study, laboratory assignments, equipment testing and design, photographic instruction, and/or other specialized assignments. Scholars spend a year traveling extensively to gain exposure and get hands-on experiences in activities that will contribute to a well-rounded education. Each year, the incoming interns and scholars are provided with membership in the Explorers Club."
