Our Mission
Home Roots Foundation is dedicated to improving the educational and economic development of Haiti. We support students by helping pay for tuition, tutoring, and supplying materials. On Thursdays and Saturdays, we hold the Speak English Together Club (SET-Club), which is an informal school that teaches youth English free of charge. We have a women's economic empowerment program to help participants start a microenterprise.

We support schools by providing supplies and helping to pay teachers. We started a women's entrepreneur program in 2020. Also in 2020, we began working with farmer groups to help increase their income through training modern technique adaptation. We are working to eventually implement a school feeding program.
Impact Stories
December 15, 2019 — Haiti
This 11 year old boy was spotted on the side of the road licking dirt off a rock because he was so hungry. A member of Home Roots Foundation took him home and learned that his father had died leaving his mother with six kids. Home Roots helped the family in 2020 and we are working to help send the children to school.
