Our Mission

Communities In Schools Pittsburgh-Allegheny County (CISPAC) is an affiliate of the nation's largest stay-in-school network. Nationally, Communities In Schools (CIS) is the nation's leading dropout prevention organization, and the only one proven to both decrease dropout rates and increase graduation rates.

CIS emphasizes 5 Basics. We believe that every child needs and deserves: 1. A personal one-on-one relationship with a caring adult 2. A safe place to learn and grow 3.
