Our Mission
On April 1, 2022, the international human rights agency WEST SUPPORT opened a special monitoring mission to identify military crimes committed against the civilian population. Over the course of a year, the mission officers identified 3,260 violent crimes against civilians (murder, rape, torture, and deprivation of freedom) in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions of Ukraine, in 85 settlements that had been under occupation, including Bucha, Irpin, Borodyanka, Izyum! Thirty-five officers of the special monitoring mission of the international human rights agency WEST SUPPORT interviewed more than 50,000 people who lived in an area of 8,000 square kilometers, conducted 14 exhumations of the bodies of tortured and killed people.

International human rights agency WEST SUPPORT is registered in the United States of America (EIN 32-0646124) as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of human rights and civil liberties. Our representative offices are located in the United States, Sudan, Ukraine, Colombia, Switzerland, Niger, Latvia, Chad, Ethiopia, Peru, Venezuela, Nigeria, Bolivia, Ecuador, Lithuania, and Italy. Our organization cooperates with such international partners as: UNICEF, UNEP, WFP, UNFRA, UNHCR, A-WEB and continues to establish contacts and cooperation in the areas of activity. The main activity of the agency WEST SUPPORT is the protection of human rights around the world. The Special monitoring mission of the agency WEST SUPPORT started its work in Ukraine on April 1, 2022, which is constantly working to ensure compliance with international humanitarian law throughout Ukraine. The mission's mobile monitoring teams visit the de-occupied territories and territories where military conflicts continue on a daily basis to identify and record war crimes. As a result of the mission's activities, we managed to obtain important information about the commission of war crimes and the places of spontaneous burial of tortured and murdered people. Unfortunately, we are forced to state that such crimes are committed by the troops of the Russian Federation.
