Rim Family Services (RFS), a private, non-profit corporation governed by a community-based board of directors, was started in 1991 by a dedicated group of residents who were concerned about substance abuse issues, especially use by teens. The mission was later expanded, in 1996, to include family and individual counseling for a variety of needs that were being presented by clients. The Agency's philosophy is that, whenever possible, a treatment program will be designed to meet the needs of the individual, rather than putting an individual into a program. We work closely with the school district to work with children, families and teens who are referred to us.
