Gateway's holistic continuum of accessible, quality care and treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges, as well as its programs for gambling and other process disorders, recognize the needs of individuals and a range of communities are different and seek to honor each individual client's identity and dignity while advocating for systemic and sector change and partnerships with other entities working for a more healthy and just world. By serving a variety of general and specific populations across Illinois and those involved with corrections systems in 7 additional states, Gateway seeks to address health service inequalities associated with stigmatized diseases of the mind and body.
