Pledge to make a difference, together.
The Major Adams Community Committee, Where Kids Matter, is named after its founder James “Major” Adams a 1998 National Jefferson Award winner and a Chicago legend. For more than seven decades he worked with young people and their families to address social and economic issues. Our mission is to aid in the “Empowerment of Children and Families”. This mission embodies the life work and beliefs of James “Major” Adams and continues to drive our program philosophies today.
