W/NP is a progressive and viable humanitarian service organization actively implementing programs in both Wisconsin and Nicaragua. W/NP's goals are to promote mutual understanding and establish lasting relationships among citizens and institutions of Wisconsin and Nicaragua; foster volunteerism and self-help attitudes through the implementation of economic and social development projects; leverage development assistance funds from public and private sources.

Our Impact
almost 3 years ago — Gracias A Dios Learning Center in Cedro Galan Nicaragua
We would like to congratulate the 56 ladies that graduated from classes at the Gracias A Dios Learning Center in Cedro Galan this past weekend! These women participated in a variety of classes over the past several months and got the opportunity to display some of their beautiful creations at the ceremony. The Cake Decorating group made several delicious cakes for the attendees to enjoy. Other yummy snacks were provided by the students in the Snacks and Pizza course. There were also beautiful decorations made by participants in the Foamy Craft Making class. Students from the Basic Sewing course got to showcase their projects as well. To top it off, there was a fashion show for the dresses created by students in the Advanced Sewing courses. We are so proud of all the students who participated in the classes and excited to see the work they will create with their new skills! These classes were made possible through supplies sent to Nicaragua in W/NP’s shipments of humanitarian aid as well as the support of the European Union Organizations with the Terre des Hommes Italy Training Project.
