Our Mission

To Prevent cruelty, suffering and inhumane treatment of animals. To provide for and promote the welfare, protection and humane treatment of animals. To provide custodial care for animals committed to Mountain Shelter through the operation of an animal shelter. To provide adoption services for animals. To cooperate with state and local agencies, as well as private groups that may be legally charged with the responsibility of providing for, or who share a common interest in the welfare of animals. To educate the community and its citizens in the humane treatment of animals. To promote responsible care and ownership of animals.
