"The Lake City, Columbia County Humane Society (“LCHS”) was incorporated as a 501 C-3 non-profit corporation in 1964. The purposes of LCHS are to promote and advance humane treatment and wellbeing of animals and to educate the community about the Humane Society’s efforts.
LCHS operates an animal adoption center and accepts lost, abandoned and neglected animals in partnership with the City of Lake City and Columbia County Code Enforcement."
