Our Mission

Since 1958, the National Society of Colonial Dames of America in Texas (NSCDA-TX) actively promotes our national and state heritage through education, patriotic services and historical preservation and the ownership and operation of the Neill-Cochran House Museum in Austin, Texas. The Neill-Cochran House Museum, a 1856 Austin Greek Revival landmark, increases the understanding o the American experience through the interpretation of the sites first century of history, architecture and culture. Since 1962, the Neill-Cochran House Museum has been bringing history to life.
