Peten Health

Our Mission

To work in solidarity with the Community Health Workers in Peten, Guatemala, so that impoverished subsistence farmworkers and their families have access to basic medical care.

The Community Health Workers have been active in the region since 2002. The work of Peten Health falls into three categories:

1. To raise funds to support the ongoing work of Community Health Workers in Peten, Guatemala.

2. To provide professional medical teaching and case review for the Community Health Workers.

3. To provide administrative mentoring and guidance for the local leaders of the Community Health Workers.
