Our Mission

Prostate Cancer League is a recognized 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds to help fight prostate cancer. Our organization’s efforts to combat prostate cancer are inspired by the late Charles ‘Chuck’ E. Goro.

Chuck Goro passed away on Superbowl Sunday, February 5, 2017, after a courageous 17-year battle with prostate cancer. He was diagnosed in 2000 with stage 4 prostate cancer and was given an estimated 6 months left to live. He survived 17 years thanks to the grace of God, support from family and friends and innovative technologies and cutting-edge treatments.

Today, Prostate Cancer League honors his memory by encouraging early screening and education, and fundraising for better and more effective treatment options with fewer side effects. Together, we can help improve and extend quality of life if we all do our part to protect our loved ones by making every effort to end this disease.
