PURPOSE
The Society has a continuing role in community education, connecting people to the past, present and future through programming of life-long learning opportunities with specific reference to the Niagara region and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The Society shall encourage the preservation of Canadian historical records and artifacts with reference to the Niagara region and specific attention to the historical benchmarks in the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The Society shall encourage the recognition of the Museum as a centre for heritage based learning and develop volunteer opportunities with the many skills available within the community.
The Society shall manage the Museum and its' holdings as a community place, communicating cultural experiences from one generation to the next.
