The “Friends of the Federation of Calgary Communities” is a registered charitable organization under the not-for-profit organization "The Federation of Calgary Communities."
The Friends deliverables are to:
- encourage Calgarians to volunteer - improve the capacity of organizations to involve volunteers - promote public participation with volunteer/community organizations with an aim to foster good citizenship and encourage healthy communities - provide courses, seminars, workshops, and other educational programs and resources of use to volunteers
The Friends of the Federation can assist our not-for-profit member organizations WHO DO NOT have registered charitable status, by serving as a “charitable sponsor” for that member organization to gain access to a Calgary Foundation Neighbour Grant.
