The Orford Arts Centre's summer academy runs for 9 weeks and is an opportunity for a maximum of 500 international students, selected by audition, to study with 54 of the worlds most important teachers and performers of classical music.
These students live on our 222 acre campus located in the Eastern Townships in Mount Orford National Park, 130 kilometers from Montreal in Quebec.
All monies donated go directly and without any administrative cost towards scholarships thereby allowing students from every walk of life to nuture his or her talent to the fullest.
Each student also has the opportunity of performing in our 500 seat Gilles Lefebvre Concert Hall or in various towns and cities within the region during the prestigious Orford Festival thereby putting his new found knowledge into practice.
