Pledge to make a difference, together.
Cool Aid was established in 1968 to provide emergency shelter to transient youth. Today, Cool Aid operates a diverse range of social and health services for the most vulnerable in our community.
Housing provides over 350 supported affordable housing units for the hard to house. Our shelters provide over 120 shelter beds and mats including meals, referrals, hygiene and counselling.
The Access Health Centre provides primary health care to over 4,000 patients including medical, pharmacy, counselling and dental care for the street-entrenched population.
The Downtown Community Centre and REES Program, which offers mental health support and a casual labour pool, are important services for people wanting to exercise, re-enter the workforce, and get social connection.
Cool Aid is actively involved in creating new options to end poverty and is governed by an elected, community-based Board of Directors.
