A caring adult who provides positive role modelling can make all the difference. Big Brothers and Sisters of Ajax-Pickering provides children with mentors through a variety of programs including Big Brother and Big Sister one-to-one match, In-School Mentoring for both boys and girls, and/or Couples for Kids. Research studies have shown that children in our programs do better in school, have better peer relationships and are more likely to go on to post secondary education.
