North York Women's Shelter has been re-building lives since 1984. We operate a 30-bed emergency shelter for women and their children who are survivors of violence and abuse. We also operate a 24-hour crisis line.
The primary service we provide to women and their children is shelter and safety. We offer individual counselling and a variety of programs and workshops.
Our counsellors empower, nurture, support and encourage abused women and their children through their recovery period.
