WEFI accepts donations from those interested in furthering excellence in education at WRDSB. The goal of WEFI is to build accounts to support projects that benefit the whole system or groups of schools within the Waterloo Region District School Board. The Foundation’s objectives focus on providing funding for the following:
> to provide nutrition programs for hungry children; > to help re-integrate alienated, at-risk youth into the regular school system; > to provide classroom enhancements; > to encourage best practice initiatives for staff and students.
