Pledge to make a difference, together.
The Organization for Literacy in Lambton is a non-profit organization located in the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre in Sarnia, Ontario. OLL offers free literacy and numeracy programs for children and adults. OLL assists adults with computers, mathematics, reading, spelling and writing. Tutoring is available in one-to-one or group settings. OLL assists children in grades 1-7 who struggle with English and mathematics. OLL also offers the Give a Book, Need to Read and Take a Book programs. Showcase Literacy, featuring authors highlighting their new books, is a major fundraiser for OLL. We are always in need of donations of gently used/new books for children and adults. Our adult programs are partially funded, while our children’s programs are not funded at all. As a result, we rely on donations from businesses, individuals, and service groups to continue to offer these programs.
