Pledge to make a difference, together.
The Orillia Museum of Art & History strives to showcase the best of Orillia and Lake Country’s culture and history through local and nationally significant exhibitions. OMAH’s Board and volunteers have recently completed a $1.1 million dollar renovation of the historic Sir Sam Steele Art Memorial Building after a very successful fund-raising campaign (Phase I). Phase II construction will concentrate on finishing the second floor for administration and research space and installing an elevator to make the museum completely wheelchair accessible.
OMAH offers art and history education programs for all ages and supports local artists and artisans through representation in the gallery and teaching opportunities. The museum delivers creative, curriculum-based, hands-on education programs for students at the museum or in the classroom.
OMAH is honored to have as its honorary patron, the Hon. James K. Bartleman, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
