Our Mission

The Canadian Foster Family Association is a national organization with a mandate to speak as a collective voice for foster families throughout the country. Its primary goal is to enhance the quality of care provided to children in Canada. The Association is run by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of foster parents from across Canada. The Provincial Directors and Delegates are elected by their Provincial Organization and the Executve are elected by the voting Directors and Delegates at the Annual General Meeting. We are a Registered Charity and do not receive any government funding. The Association is maintained through its membership fees, donations and the generosity of communities in fundraising initiatives.
