The St. John's Women's Centre is a non-profit charity that responds to over 300 requests per month for information, referral and support from women in the St. John's and Avalon Region. We provide women in need with food, clothing, personal care items and a safe space to gather. The Women's Centre runs a Back-to-School Program for women and children, a Christmas program for women in need and a variety of groups throughout the year. Our brand new and very exciting Marguerite's Place Project will, when built, offer safe and affordable housing as well as a range of support to women in need.
