Our Mission

The Children's Heritage Fund is a Committee of the Board of the Winnipeg School Division established on September 30, 1980 to assist in funding projects which would not normally be totally funded through regular school or school division accounts. Schools are able to apply for grants from the Fund for outdoor education; multicultural and cultural enrichment of direct benefit to students, support for visual and performing arts such as music, drama, art, dance, athletics; construction and installation of playground equipment and grounds; construction and upgrading of playing fields; meeting other special student needs as they arise such as registrations, artists in schools, publication of student produced books..
