Pledge to make a difference, together.
Jovia’s mission is to contribute to improving the quality of life of hospital patients through its therapeutic clown programs that combine complicity, playfulness and imagination. Jovia aims to integrate therapeutic clowns into the treatment plans of Canadian health care facilities. The therapeutic clowns work with two different clienteles:
Children in paediatric hospitals (from day clinics to other departments alike including surgery, oncology, multi-specialties, etc.) and in specialized centers (rehabilitation and palliative care) via its Dr Clown programs, and Seniors who are no longer independent, living in residence or long-term care facilities (CHSLD), through its Company’s Coming program. More than thirty health care centres enjoy the personalised services of Jovia which has also received official approval from the Collège des médecins du Québec and l’Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
