Pledge to make a difference, together.
The adversities facing today's urban Aboriginal community determine USF's three core purposes: •Education and Employment Training: USF supports ACCESS and Aboriginal community education and training programs and services that enhance employment and career opportunities for urban Aboriginal people. •Scholarship Awards: USF provides secondary scholarships and bursaries to Metro Vancouver school districts, colleges and universities for urban Aboriginal students and for post-secondary scholarships in fields that will meet the specific needs of First Nations,Inuit, or Metis peoples and communities. USF would like to expand awards to all school districts, colleges and universities in the region. •Short Term Assistance: USF grants to urban Aboriginal organizations to deliver short-term assistance poverty relief projects and programs that will enable urban Aboriginal individuals and families to get back on track in times of need.
