Since 2002 Nourish and Develop has assisted those in need, in particular children. In 2009 the foundation moved its offices to Cannington in the Township of Brock (northeast GTA). The focus is to assist rural communities by encouraging innovative approaches to community economic development and participatory ownership of those affected. The foundation motto is "Food for Life...Education for Change"
